Topic 1: Mental Health; Topic 2: Double Durden of Disease

 

The World Health Organization aims to direct and coordinate international health programs under the banner of the United Nations. They cover issues ranging from Mental Health, GMO’s, and Emergency-Disease Response. The WHO works with the NGO’s as well as organizations like the CDC in hopes of protecting civilians across the world. Since the establishment of the MDG’s, the WHO has become the gatekeeper of medicine development across the Globe.
