Letter From the Secretary-Generals

 

On behalf of our Secretariat, Directors, conference staff, and school, it is our pleasure to cordially invite you to the first ever Ontario Model United Nations, or OMUN. Run by Upper Canada College and hosted at our beautiful midtown Toronto campus, OMUN will run from April 16th to April 17th, 2016. In creating OMUN the secretariat has combined the best things from all kinds of MUN conferences, in order to provide a conference experience that suits all delegates. OMUN committees will focus on not only some of the most pressing issues of today, but also those of the past. OMUN will have an intensive and exciting crisis experience, and the mix of General Assemblies, Specialized Agencies, and Crisis committees will provide an option for each and every delegate. Delegates should look forward to a weekend of innovative and exciting debate, as well as challenges that will force them to think critically, outside the box, and most importantly on their feet.  We will be providing you with more information on registration shortly, and our conference website, http://omun.ca and social media pages will be updated with additional information.
